The World Can Wait — Original Artwork
The World Can Wait — Original Artwork
The World Can Wait is an original, one-of-one textured artwork featuring two tiny otters tucked into a calm blue centre, surrounded by layers of colour, movement and heavily worked texture.
The contrast between the quiet centre and the more chaotic outer layers is what makes this piece — and the texture is a huge part of it. Raised paint, scraped-back sections and layered colour give the original a depth that changes with the light and simply doesn’t translate fully in photos or a 2-D print.
At its centre, the two otters are happily wrapped up in their own little world.
The world can wait. For a minute, it’s just us.
